Well, if your cousin thinks Bosley is the answer, PLEASE send him to me, I've got a great bridge for sale, cheap, great potential for revenue, great views and wonderful area.

No, give that sucker a year or two, and he'll have learned what others here have also learned the hard way, doctors who practice that service really are on the edge of their Hippocratic oath.  The oath, with emphasis added where appropriate as to Bosley follows:

I swear by Apollo the physician, by Ӕsculapius, Hygeia, and Panacea, and I take to witness all the gods, and all the goddesses, to keep according to my ability and my judgment the following Oath: To consider dear to me as my parents him who taught me this art; to live in common with him and if necessary to share my goods with him; to look upon his children as my own brothers, to teach them this art if they so desire without fee or written promise; to impart to my sons and the sons of the master who taught me and the disciples who have enrolled themselves and have agreed to the rules of the profession, but to these alone, the precepts and the instruction. I will prescribe regimen for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone. To please no one will I prescribe a deadly drug, nor give advice which may cause his death. Nor will I give a woman a pessary to procure abortion. But I will preserve the purity of my life and my art. I will not cut for stone, even for patients in whom the disease is manifest; I will leave this operation to be performed by practitioners (specialists in this art). In every house where I come I will enter only for the good of my patients, keeping myself far from all intentional ill-doing and all seduction, and especially from the pleasures of love with women or with men, be they free or slaves. All that may come to my knowledge in the exercise of my profession or outside of my profession or in daily commerce with men, which ought not to be spread abroad, I will keep secret and will never reveal. If I keep this oath faithfully, may I enjoy my life and practice my art, respected by all men and in all times; but if I swerve from it or violate it, may the reverse be my lot.

No way! Not trying to offend about your cousin but sounds like he is the one that is stupid. I am new to the whole shaving thing myself (actually buzzing, haven't taken the razor out yet) but I read 1-2 articles on the "bosley" and other places. I am not about to put myself through that. I'd rather  have a skullet that do hair transplant.  :*)) seriously though average having to have 2-4 transplants done and 3-4,000 a pop only to look thinning, not to mention the stories I had read about the scars you can get. Take the $12,000 put it on a nice Jeep, convertible or Jeep. Did I say Jeep twice, oops. Then tell him, Yeah it was either this or a little bit of hair so I figured If I got this the hair would only get in my eyes. 8)

I'm sure there's a brick wall somewhere that'll listen to your cousin's pessimistic opinion   :Xo!
You like fine my friend and I'm assured that his negative and careless comments will not stop you, besides you've been sly for too long now to go back.

Excellent find, it ought to be a link for this site to show anyone considering being mutilated what the facts are.

I could care less if I offend your cousin: he's an idiot. And clueless to boot.

Who's the idiot: the man who accepts himself as he is? Or the one that spends oodles of money denying it?

You should have seen their ad on tv.  I saw it a couple of weeks ago and that's when I was curious.  I did a search on google and that's what I found.
By the way, it's not that I am considering keeping my hair.   8)    But their ad was so damn deceptive.     That's why the OP's cousin may have taken that route

I don't understand these people...
First off how can you think that the procedure will produce lasting results, by the time you are done losing hair. the are of hair loss is going to be almost as large as the area without hair loss. that's simple math

2ndly why spend that kind of money,
and why put you scalp through that. why ruin your head?

My opinion is that transplants are the worst route to go. lots of money to permanently damage you scalp.

You look great sly.  He's just jealous and an idiot.   Listen to all of us who have spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to look like we have the hair that we were born with -- keep it sly and just smile at your cousin.  Send him over here to us.  We'll take care of it for you :-)

these were the reasons why i decided to shave my head in 2004 when the thining and recedding in 2004, and keep  a shaved head, for the money that my cousin is spending at bosley, i could spend eaisely spend three weeks at the 2018 winter olympics at either Munich Germany or PyoengChang South Korea. which is more fun then blowing that money for fake hair.
