I graduated
« on: April 10, 2010, 02:59:25 PM »
Well, I've been using the clipper for a while and tonight I feel it's time to move on.  I'm taking out the razor.  Actually, I'm going to the mall and then out to dinner.  Hopefully I can find a place that sells the headblade.  I know CVS used to sell them.  If so, I'm taking it home and shaving the dome to a shine.  If I can.

I just shaved my head with a clipper today, and I just feel reading for the blade.

Wish me Luck.

First time? I'd recommend a "normal" razor rather than the HB. The HB takes some getting used to.

Be sure to post after photos!

Walgreens has the Headblade products on sale this weekend. You might save a few bucks by stocking up. That's what I did.

Welcome aboard!  I will have to agree on using a normal razor for your first time.  The headblade is more apt to take off bumps that you didn't realize you had on your head. :o  I speak from experience. :XX

Hey guys. I could not find the Headblade last night, and I was too tired to do it with my mach 3.  However, tonight is the night.  I will put the pics up when it is done.  As always thanks for the support.

Thanks mangosink, but I didn't do it yet.  The other picture was very close, but not shaved yet.  Well, here is the update.  I was all set to do it with the Mach 3 last night and I found this product that I couldn't stop thinking about, so now I have to try it.  The catch is I have to wait until tomorrow morning because it has to charge for 16 hours.

It is called the conaire cleanhead and it promises to get as close as a blade.  I'll let you guys know how it goes.  Here is the link if you are interested.

All this is fine and good, but be reminded that the blade, M3, M5, Fusion, or HB, whatever--that's the "Gold Standard" and until you're to the wood with the Gold Standard, you haven't experienced the essence of Sly, we promise.
