Another new guy.....................
stopped by in order to get some info on how to shave my thinning horshoe----which I had been using a Wahl Peanut trimmer and/or a Remmington curved blade trimmer on. I was on the fence on whether to go the full monty, but after reading some tips on this forum I decided to go ahead. I used a Schick Extreme 3 razor and Edge shave gel ( both on sale at target ) and went for it. I follwed up by using an antibacterial soap and exfoliating with my wife's Clarisonic brush. I got zero razor burn and/or nicks!
I am extremely happy that I did! I probably went thru all of the same emotions as everybody else; I almost felt that by losing my hair I was letting the people in my life down. Surprisingly, I really like how I look fully sly! While I look a little different, the same things about me are the same. I look at it this way: it was like trading in a brand new Corevett, for a vintage model. Maybe not as flashy, but way cooler.
I most say my wife was extremely supportive; she showed her support by going fully "sly" herself. Let's just say that "shaved head" took on a new meaning around here! All kidding aside, I want to say thanks for all of the great info and support!

welcome to the Forum Steven! Congrats on your new found freedom.
Don't mind Tim.... he knows very well that we don't ask new members for those kinds of photos until they've been on board for a week. So we'll see those photos next Wednesday OK?

Welcome to SBG's Steven, glad you joined up. Nice to see someone take control of the situation and just go for it, way to go bro!
Great to hear that your wife stands behind you, and even went "smooth" herself. That's awesome.
Hope you enjoy the forum, and make sure everyone but Tim sees the pics, lol.
