Where to start - not at the beginning since that takes too long. Been lurking around here for the last month or so. Been contemplating shaving the head since December.
I turned 40 towards the end of last year. My receding hair line started in the early 20s. I'm one of those people that have only been getting hair cuts once every 3 years or so. So my hair has always been long - never shorter then 6 or so inches.
I got bored a couple of weeks ago and went to the local hair shop and had this done:
It turned out well and I liked how it looked. It was so easy to take care of all of a sudden that it was almost a revelation. Reactions were mild shock at work and at home.
I was starting to feel shaggy after only two weeks - so finaly did the deed this morning:
I love the way it looks and feels - liberating to say the least.
Glad I found this board with all you great people on it.
