Congrats! I just shaved my head for the first time a few days ago. I didn't know how to describe the weird feeling on my scalp - "numb" describes it well.

Sean, congrats on shaving the noggin'!, it looks great man.
Now remember to keep it going for the thirty days. Enjoy that "numb" feeling too, after a while when your scalp gets used to the blade, it goes away.
Don't you feel a bit more free now?
