Embrace it; The hairstylist view

am a hair stylist in New York city and I have had so many men in the past sit in my chair asking advice on how to make their thinning hair look fuller. My first bit of advice would be that the shorter the hair the better it looks. Then once I have won their confidence we start the conversation about going even shorter. At this point my advice is to embrace it and why they should. Before you know it I would buy them their own clipper/buzzer and they would be shavings their own heads, bald. I would loose a client and money but it was really about the client being happy I Love this site and not only think that the advice is amazing but the vibe and humour is great.
Keep up the great work.

Very cool of you to put your client's welfare ahead of profit motive.

Very admirable of you to do that, and truthful too. Hope you have enough 'hairy' people to keep you in the 'green.'

You know, even if you lost a client by encouraging the head shave, you would be making your soon to be former clients happy. Perhaps if one of their non balding friends asked about the new shaved head look, your former client may tell them about a stylist who cares about thier clients. So then maybe the person who was not losing hair may want to try you out because you have good motives and you care!
