i am 32 and am going bald.
i have a bald spot at the back and am trying to cover it up with have long hair. but it has got too the point where i know it looks stupid, i dont have the guts to do the deed though?
please help me go sly

You've taken a HUGE step in the right direction by coming here, man.
Hang out, read up on as many posts as you can.
Standard intro advice is give it a good clip to start with. #4, #3, #2, #1. Ease into it. Get used to the feeling of having a pretty bare head.
I have the same growing problem with a ever-expanding balding spot on the top back of my head. Like where a Jewish yamaca is worn.
It's more obvious the longer your hair is. I've grown my hair out a bit for the cold months and am astonished at how "glaring" it is. The shorter the clip (not to mention shaving completely) the less obvious.

Welcome to SBG, Mr. Bark. The one thing to remember about any sort of hair-related matters, be it shaving your head, growing your hair out:
Nothing is permanent. (Except laser stuff, but that's a different story.)
If you shave your head and don't like the way it looks, it's not the end of the world. You can always grow your hair back. And remember, being sly is a frame of mind. If you're completely comfortable with the way you look (which I'm guessing isn't the case at the moment), then you're on the right track to sly. So make sure you do it for YOU and nobody else.
Robmeister's right. Stick around for a while and learn about the sly way of life! And as far as easing into it by going through the "countdown procedure" (yeah, I just coined that lol), it's what worked for me. I believe I was somewhere near the same thing. I started off earlier this year (around June I believe) with about 12 inches of hair and a terrible receding hairline.
I started off with a #5, then a #3, then a #2, then a #1, then a complete shave with the clippers, and then the shick. Make sure you set your own pace. There's no rush at all.

take control with 10 minutes and a razor and make yourself a..
completely bald, very confident, sly dude!
