it was good Kahlua. Then again, I'm entitled to a little pick me up. I've been up since 4am (CA time). F**kin' cats coughing up hairballs woke me up. Bear in mind, the cats came with the marriage (package deal). I can't wait 'til they die....the cats that is. You think I'd own a cat on my own?
How many men (real men) consider themselves cat people anyway. As soon as they die, I'm taking them to a taxidermist and having them made into headcovers. The male cat will be perfect for my driver, and the female cat will made a great 4 wood headcover. -

I'm with ya Schro, I inherited two of 'em with my marriage. Then my daughter got one. They're OK, but I would rather have my red heeler any day. He's loyal, and if I leave the front gate open, he knows he better stay put, unless told otherwise.

As far as cats go, I guess ours are ok. However, it really doesn't change the fact that I think they are useless, untrainable, and make a damn mess of the house. Yes, dogs can be messy as well, but dogs can be trained.
I've attached a pic of our dog, Miko. We got him in Sept. 2006 as a rescue project (neglected litter). 1/2 Sheltie, 1/2 Dauchsund. It's funny how a lot of people say he looks like a minature lab. Perfect size (probably 27 lbs, full grown). He's got a great disposition, is not a barking machine, and is great with the kids. I take him running and he's always ready to rock n' roll while the cats are busy getting on the kitchen counters, hacking up hairballs, and missing the litter boxes when they take a dump.
Did I mention I hate cats?

It's not just you guys' that hate cats. I have one too, picture of which is on myspace. That thing is evil personified.
My dog on the other hand, is the happiest, craziest most loyal thing I know.
I never did get the fascination that people have about cats...

I use to have cats all my life as i use to be afraid of dogs as i was bite twice as a young child... ( 2 yrs old..in the face) now i have 2 dogs.. one a collie and golden retreiver mix..and a pit bulll that is a suck and love to lick you to death LOL....

I had a pit when I was about 4, and a collie when I was around 12 or 13. They were both awesome dogs.

OK....as long as we're on the subject...
Here's our two = boxadors (lab/boxer mix) - just shy of 15 months old = 85 lb handfuls of puppy.
Great water dogs and great with the kids.
They're kennel trained = they sleep in their kennel at night....just open the garage door and yell "KENNEL!" and they get right in.
We need a taller fence....they can't mind their own business.
