Container Material At Airports

All,
I'm currently at the airport waiting to board my flight (of course here too early....gotta arrive 2 hours before the flight ya' know

). Anyway, going thru the gestapo check in procedures, and my carry on bag brought the attention of the SS because of my friggin' shaving gel container (Gillette Edge).....G*D DAMN SHAVING CREAM
I was upset because I planned on hijacking the plane with my 1/2 empty can of shaving gel (oh wait, did I say that too loud?).

So, there's another thing to consider when choosing your shaving gel or cream....the container. I usually mix HeadSlick with Bald Guyz Shave Gel (glad both come in plastic containers).
Have a great Wednesday.

See, you stray from the bald head products and look what happens .....

Plus the way the gel shoots from the can can be used like a weapon ... I said can can

I understand your pain schro. And even staying with the bald products doesn't work. I had to discard my little bottle of HeadClear went I flew down to visit Paulie Burke. It was good that there was very little in it. They even made me throw out the tiny tube of toothpaste I purposely purchased for the flight because IT was too big.
I don't blame the airport personnel, just the idiot terrorists who put us in this situation.

Security is a pain in the ass, but a necessary one

I'll be buying the small bottles of HeadSlick and just refill it. I may let the hair grow back (or at least what's left of it), but the combo of HeadSlick and Bald Guyz Shave Gel is the best for me.

You can carry shaving gel and other liquids if you put it in with your checked luggage. I had to quickly transfer mine from my carry-on bag when I was checking in for a flight in October.

I thought the rule was that it had to be 3oz container or less, not the amount in a larger container and that they all had to fit in a one quart plastic bag that I can live w/. What is the rule about razors, I'm sure they don't let a straight edge on, but what about my trusty Fusion, does that have to go in checked bags--I've been checking my bag for that reason. Recently I could have avoided a delay if I had carried on, but the razor gave me pause. I don't want to rely on throw aways supplied by the hotel and a new Fusion each trip and the hassel of buying one puts me off.

When we traveled in Oct overseas, you were allowed to now have scissors as long as they were small ones. My wife took some to work on here projects and I had razors in my carry on. Although they wouldnt allow me to take a Haitian broom back with me as a carryon because of the handle. They said I could have used that as a weapon??? I walked into the gift shop area of the airport in Port da Prince and was able to buy a 4 foot long walking stick and carry it on the plane. What gives?

The walking stick was more of a threat than the damn broom. LOL
