I planned on sharing my 2 cents on the Sensor Excel with the HEadblade sport, and fellas let me tell you what I think.
I love it, my head is closer than ever, and oh so soft. It feels like the frist time I shaved all new like..... ahh i can't even describe it, all I know is I love it.
so far these are my favorite blades with the Headblade
Sensor Excel (2 blade)
Attra Blades
Headblade (2 blade)
Headblade triple (3 blade)
I have not tried the Sensor three yet however that is next.
Let me know how you like the Sensor on the Headblade Sport.

I'll have to try that. I have the sensor adaptor and some blades that fit the sensor - triple blades. I'll let you know what happens.

I still like the Atra Plus over everything else...
HB Triple Blades - as good a shave as the Atra, so not worth the extra $$$
HB Double Blades - Not as good as the Atra
Sensor Excel - Roughed my head up something fierce!

So far, I have only used the HB double blades and not a nick yet. Then again, I'm cheering for the Colts.

I found the HB doubles didn't clean out as easy as the Attra, and the Sensor cleaned my head nice still smooth and it's been like 5 hours... this never happens

For a change of pace I decided to try some different blades today. I went out and got a 4 pack of generic Sensor triple blades. Went home and snapped on the sensor adapter and gave one a whirl. Overall a great shave, they worked much better than the Headblade triples. I had to change my technique a bit, shaving on the sides of the head front to back instead of going up which would be against the grain. The blade really seemed to grab, and required more push than Atra's. The only problem is a couple "dips" on the back of my head which a larger cartridge misses, same as a Mach 3 or Fusion. I won't be using these regularly, as I have a stockpile of Atra's, but they worked very well overall.

I never used the Headblade but I have been using Sensor 3 for ages, it's WAY better than the Excel.
I still use the Sensor 3 on my face but have found the Fusion to be great for the head.
Any chance of getting a Fusion adapter for the Headblade??

because the way the mach 3 and fusion attach to the handle the HB adaptor would like like something out of a star trek movie. How ever the pivot point could be removed from it's current attachment and conect to a HB adaptor.

IMHO, the Sensor Excel blades on the HB Sport give a much, much closer, smoother shave...than the HB triples....I still have a pack of HB triples to work through so...
In pursuit of the perfect HeadShave I'll also invest in a 4-Pack of the Gillette Atra Plus double and see how they rank up against the Sensor Excel....
I'm still betting that the BEST blades on a HB Classic, Sport, or S4 will be the (DOVO) "Merkur" Atra style double carts.... It will be some time before I get a pack 'cause they ain't cheap... and are hard to find at a good price...
I followed a tip I got from this forum this morning and applied some KOS Alpha oil & a little water on the old dome first and then lathered up with the HeadSlick shaving cream and got a really, really, NICE, SMOOTH, shave....one of the BEST shaves that I've had with an HB.....
That combo of the KOS and HeadSlick will make ANY blade shave smoother....

I'm gonna jump on the KoS/Head Slick combo soon. After hearing so many people talk it up, I gotta try it for myself.

i find that if you mix the two in your hand before applying it your noggin it works very well too.
