How many of you have been shaving for so long that you no longer know how much hair you have left or know what color it is? I'll bet a lot of guys are a lot balder and greyer than they realize.

I have no idea how much, because I have never gone longer that 2 days between shaves. But the shadow (or lack of) tells me that what is left is pretty gray.

I actually grew mine in a little bit to see if I was balding or not. I use to have dark brown hair, now there's red in it! and it's showing in my beard too!

Man, that reminded me of the time I had a "growout"(possibly for my wedding, but wife liked me better bald)...and THAT was 8 years ago....
I had about 3 months growth and i was finding my hair at my hairline had changed it's consistancy totally...it was kinda curly and not performing at all...i was going for a spiky, gelled up front faux-flattop looking style...
but couldn't get close!
I'm meant to be bald I guess!

That's a sign that your hairline was starting to recede. That started happening to me when I was in college; some of the hairs near the hairline would just curl up and wouldn't grow as long as the rest of my hair. I think that's when the follicle is starting to diminish and eventually die. It doesn't necessarily mean that you're going bald; most guys experience a little recession as they start getting a more "mature" hairline.

Being a BBC, I've still got plenty of hair. It is turning grey pretty fast. I can tell by my shadow, that it has receded a little on the top near my temples.
Going to stay sly though no matter what.
