Very rare to get snow in our part of the country (coastal south carolina) but I always think about in 1989 we had a rare storm that dumped 3 feet of snow mixed with ice. My wife, who was my girlfriend at the time, had just moved in with me. Guys I love her dearly but I hope I NEVER get snowbound with her for over 36 hours again. We lived in single wide mobile home back then and I had no idea you could rearrange furniture so many times!! Fortunate part is that was BEFORE her addiction to Home and Garden TV.

No snow in GA yet. We did have a low of 32 last night (2 degrees below the predicted 34) and a predicted low of 32 tonight.

I agree. It's still 85-87 degrees here. Still have tomatoes in the garden. Bring on the rain.

This morning when I went to work at 7:30 it was 19 degrees. By 2:00 this afternoon it was 61. Makes dressing for the weather challenging. No snow yet here in the great north however.

I'm mad at all of you in this thread that just jinxed me! This was going to be the first year that we didn't hunt in the snow. After reading this thread I checked the weather in Leadore, ID and it appears there will be snow fall now. It was supposed to be 60 degrees and clear all week.

Welcome to my world. I went out and got a new hat for this winter. I need to keep the heat in.

Normal mixed wheather here in northern Germany this fall: 5-15 degree Celsius, some rain, some sun, a little mist. In September there have been some nights with -5 degree Celsius frost.

Sorry Tyler....didn't mean to do that to ya....the storm ended here and some spots got almost 20 inches depending on location. We escaped the brunt and only got a few but up the road a couple miles in the mountains they got hammered....was stictly an elevation thing.

Don't quite get it Tyler. We pray for snow on opening day and during deer season in the U.P. Snow means the deer have to move around searching for food and increases the chances for a kill, not to mention tracking a deer if necessary.

Last night...the windscreen was thick over with ice, and the roads were dangerously slippery. I hate that more than snow.

Yes, I thought it would make it easier too. Especially tracking.
