The first day I did it, I got a bitch of a sunburn and haven't been able to shave again. I'm kinda in sly limbo now.

Hey njbill, don't sweat it bro, it looks good.
Two things you gotta remember; give it the 30 days like Andre said. This will help you get used to shaving and seeing your newly smooth dome.
Make sure you wear some sunscreen if you're going to be out in the sun for any length of time. If you can't shave, you can't get to hone your technique.
