I decided to check out Sally's Beauty Supply during my lunch break and to my surprise they had a lot of HeadBlade stuff, even better, it was all marked down from $7.99 to $4.99. The store owner was there and she said the Sally's in our area were not going to carry the HeadBlade stuff anymore because it just wasn't selling, sad to hear but good for me on this shopping trip. After talking to her a little bit and laying down some Sly charm, I got an extra dollar off each thing I bought.
1 bottle of HeadLube Glossy
1 bottle of HeadLube Matte (never tried either)
2 bottles of HeadShed
1 bottle of HeadSlick
All of that for under $20.
Not sure if this is happening to all Sally's, but it may be worth you time to check out the one near you.

I bought the last bottles of headshed, lube, and slick, plus my HB and doub refills from my Sally's three weeks ago, that was all they had left. $25 out the door.
Went home and immediately became sly. (I had been on the fence for a few weeks up until that point and already started using headshed) Unfortunately they are all out now. From what I was told it was a company wide thing, and since then all headblade products have been removed from the sally's website. I checked on there to see if maybe they were selling it as cheap as in the local stores.

Thanks for sharing bro, I'm actually glad to hear it is company wide, that way hopefully more of the Sly Bros can get out there and get some good deals.

They've already made their money on whats stocked in the store. If it failed in the Sally's beauty store then thats just business. IMHO, HeadBlade products in a Sally's Beauty Supply was kind of crap shoot for them anyways, how many guys actually go in there? I'm sure HB won't be losing sleep over it.

Hey guys...just saw this thread via google 'blog' alerts. Here's the Sally's deal in a nutshell; We did a 6 mos trial. It's not the right vehicle for us as they concentrate on haircare and accessories...mostly women's lines. They don't have enough men's foot traffic for shave to make it a viable point of distribution for us.
Not sure about the $2.99 Walgreen's purchase. They're a strong outlet for us and have been for 3 years. Sounds like something was mislabeled.

That's too bad that Sally's didn't work out. It was nice to be able to walk in and grab some stuff if I forgot to order it online. Let us know if you get any more distribution points. It's great to be able to order online, but it's also nice to pick up some stuff if you happen to be out and about.
