Direct Deposit or Check

Today is payday where I work and I had just remarked to Warhawk that I thought I work for one of few employers that does not offer direct deposit. So every payday I have to make a trip through the drive-thru. So, at Mel's advice that this would be a good thread topic, I thought I would solicit opinions from the rest of my SLY brothers.
So what's your story? Are you tied to the old paper checks or have you moved into the 21st century?

I'm still living in the dark ages.....prefer to get the paper check and go to the bank....I guess I like to divy my money up and save some cash so I don't have to go to the da** ATM machines everytime I want to do something.....besides....being retired it gives me something to do....

Direct deposit. I also do my banking online, as well most of my bills - student loans, cable, etc..
I've done enough buying/selling/banking online that i'm comfortable with the process. Easier too.

Had Direct Deposit in the Corps and have it now at the high school. I wouldn't be without it. Check is always there, sometimes even early (we get paid on the 15th and 30th unless it falls on a holiday or weekend.) Go on vacation and the money is still coming in. Geez, can you tell I like direct deposit?

I love direct deposit. Have had it for years. Most of my steady bills are on autopay or at a minimum paid with online banking.
If anyone sees my checkbook please destroy it. Thx

Whats a bank? Is that the big building attached to the ATM? I don't think I've been in a bank in a long time.
