I'm with Nick... always get compliments on my shine and I usually use Aloe Vera after an ice cube rub, but occasionally I use Bald Guyz Gel. I too have found the HB stuff leaves my dome very greasy no matter how little of it I use.

...I just use sun lotion on the dome to keep it from drying out. It's one of the few things I can use on my head without it causing me spots and bumps. I tend to have a naturally shiny dome anyway, and that's the way I like it!

I don't need anything to make my dome shine it comes natural from my oily skin. I do use Nivea after shave balm though but not for the shine but because it works great and keeps the noggin smooth and soft

lol. He said smegma.

Reminds me of Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay where the friend was wearing a shirt that read "I love smegma." I had to explain that to soooo many people.
I just shave mine and it shines right up. I try to tone it down so as to not blind people.

Cold water rinse or ice cube rub works great.

Personally, I like the headlube glossy... yeah it does kinda leave a little slick feeling, but I like the way it makes my head feel. Though, the other day I did accidentally use too much, and my head looked like a polished bowling ball... like super waxed and polished. I didn't notice it until the reflection in the mirror actually gave me light spots in my eyes... lol

The best thing for shine is definitely HeadLube Glossy.

I am usually naturally shiny....which I like! But when I really want to shine, I use HeadLube Glossy. I have also used aloe and sunscreen and I usually shine after that as well!

For the "blind them shine" I use spf70 by Neutrogena, it's a spray on product--then I don't even bother to rub it in. It's like shellac--reflections are incredible.

I also use HeadLube when I want to step it up a notch. I rub in a little at a time, like maybe pea-size, until it feels like my head's soaked in what it wants, then just one more touch for a topcoat. I have a regular size bottle of Glossy and a sample thing of Matte when I want to change it up.
If you order your HeadLube straight from HB, I highly reccomend ordering a pump to go with it. It's much easier to use and you get better portion control. Of course, if you have any old bottles of hand soap or hand lotion, those pumps will usually fit the HB bottles as well. Just make sure to rinse them out really well.
