Shaving Cream and Gel is overrated...let it grow for 2 or 3 days and DRY shave!

I use this thing that is a shave oil which rocks. Put a couple drops and rub into your head and shave away. No cuts in burns, call it my wd40 for shaving.

Hi,
my best results are achieved by using a gel, however not a shaving gel, I use a strong styling gel !
I first wash the head and then I put the gel on the well moisturized skin together with a little bit of water.
The result is great. A perfectly smooth bald head.
Best regards
Volker (Germany)
I was reading this a few days ago and thought it was worth a try. I had a bottle of hair gel I was going to take to a young friend in Cuba so I took a small few drops and rubbed it on the dome. It was surprising how good it did. I may not make it an everyday habit but it is an excellent alternative. Muchas gracias, Volker....Cheers y'all

I don't use goo from a can. I've started using vanderhagen shaving soap and shaving cream from real shaving. You can get both at Rite aid. I've also used head slick in the past and that's a great product as well.

I can recommend the Nivea Gel for Sensitive Skin. It works great, as does the Headslick. I use both of them and can't really tell any difference.....well the Nivea is cheaper
I apply both products directly, sometimes I add a few drops of baby oil
used to only shave with baby oil but it's way too oily for me, other than that it's great

I use the Edge Ultra Sensitive Shaving Gel (the more the protection the better for me) . I read somewhere that shaving gel retains moisture better than shaving cream. I'd recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin.

I used BG'z Clear gel with my HB yesterday, been a while since I used it, but I gotta say it still is one of the best gel's for shaving the dome.

I got to agree...as I was shaving I thought to myself that BG is much better than HB gel. And here's the kicker...It was a quick shave, not in the shower and w/o a good washing or very hot water. I was impressed!
