i'm looking for a cigar that's mild and not a long smoke. Looking for something that i can smoke during a 30 min. lunch break at work. Nothing too complex flavor wise or too robust. I heard Macanudo has one called the ascot. Anyone have experience w/this smoke? Or can anyone recommend a good smoke?
Macanudo's rock! Love one ocassionally
A & C Grenadier Churchill. Good even toned stogie! Sadly, not the smallest of cigars. You could always snuff it out, and finish off that bad boy later.
There are a few out there that have a great smooth taste while at the same time being affordable and easy to smoke. While Some will 'stub out' or 'snip off' the cherries to finish smoking later, I simply can't. You have to keep in mind, that there are things that affect the taste of a cigar and relighting one of them. I'm one that will always use wooden matches to light my cigars, and most of the time I will never be without a glass of Single Malt either. I have found a few good ones but my favorite would have to be the 'Sharkskin House' maduro's, which are a Cuban leaf with a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper. Very affordable and quite honestly there are times where I'd much rather have one of those than my usual Romeo Y Julieta or Hoyo De Monterrey.
Jer, I am with ya, Single malt and a cigar is one of life's best pleasures...
Arturo Fuente makes some of the best cigars for the money. They have a great variety, including for those that don't want one that is too heavy. Romeo & Juliet is also a great brand, and rumored to have been used in a presidential scandall.
Onyx Reserve Minis are a great quick little smoke
Only thing that rivals a nice shave is a good smoke! Macunudo excaliburs are great but I"ve settled on Punch maduro as my favorite smoke. Nice rich taste. Pure pleasure! You have to smoke the big ones!
