What really got me about the Dixie Chicks was they made a comment about Toby Keiths song..Red, White and Blue being too violent......ahh excuse me but weren't they the ones who made a song and video.....Earl Had to Die??? Never really cared for them but their views really sealed the deal for me.
I don't like it when musicians badmouth each other or each other's work, even if I agree with what they are saying (not that I agree with what the Chicks said about Toby Keith, because I don't). It's just unseemly to me. Even when Travis Tritt came out and said that Billy Ray Cyrus' "Achy Breaky Heart" was crap -- a sentiment with which I fully agreed -- I didn't think he should have said it. It just isn't professional. -

yeah if the "musicians" would just shut their pieholes and worry about what they r doing the world would be great. last time i checked billy ray had hannah montana working for him....what's travis twitt got going 4 him???

I used to be a country music fan but no "real" country music has been released in about 10 years or so. The "Shania" generation has killed country music..... it really is nothing but fancied up "Pop" music. I hate it.
And Rascal Flatts happens to be my most hated band of all time.....
i agree with a slight variation. the dixie chicks are the worst. just my opinion though.
You're absolutely right Paul! I hate the Dixie Chicks more than any band ever...... but I put them totally out of mind a few years back. Thanks for reminding me!!!!!! -

Now that there is some pretty good stuff. I probably should have said that "commercial" country radio sucks.....just as most commercial radio does......... -
