MIRROR or mirrorLESS headshaving...
« on: June 06, 2008, 10:35:06 PM »
hello fellow chrome domes:  Do U participate in mirror or mirrorless headshaving?  i'll start:  i participate in "mirrorless" headshaving when i "do the deed" in the shower.  however... when my wifey shaves my noggin' she uses the mirror.
so... how 'bout U?  mirror?  or mirrorless?  what's your story?

great topic Hawk,

I use a electric in front of a mirror. I shave my face in the shower and have a fogless mirror in there. So I always use a mirror.   O0

Warhawk, glad to see you're still cranking out the topic ideas!  Man, you're creative!  I have a fogless mirror in the shower but I usually shave at the sink and do use a mirror when I shave the back of my head - I just feel better knowing for sure I got all that crazy hair.

May 30th, 08... went sly on that date in 07 after being on here for just a few days... had been buzzing it down on my own every week and was given some great encouragement by this community, took the plunge, and have been shaving ever since... mostly every other day as I get some irritation on the base of my head but never more than that - it gets itchy!

Fog-less mirror is an oxymoron.

I've tried 2 or 3 and they always get foggy after a few months or so after the coating wears off  >:(

Hawk,  I use 2 actually.  Shave in front of the mirror, and use the hand mirror to check the back end to make I am sly 360 every morning before heading out the door.  But I have tried it mirror-less before, but feel like I need to be using the force or something........

Mirror shaver here.  I have, and can do it without one though, like when I go camping.  Carrying a mirror into a shower house will get you some odd looks.

Mirror-less here. Shave in the shower 95 percent of the time and do some touch up work at the sink.

As a sink shaver I too do the two mirror bit.  Though since I must have coarse hair or something I have found that I tend to shave by the sound of the blades on the hair.  When there is no sound then I am smooth and slick

Warhawk....if your wife shaves your head for you.....why in the world would she need to use the mirror....is she like wayyyy shorter than you or something and she needs it to see the top of your head or what?  LOL....

I am mirror-less.  I stand in the shower...close my eyes and I am like a blind man.  Its amazing what you can feel with your hands when your eyes are closed.  ooohhhhhh!  LOL

Mirror over the sink, except that in back it's the braille & squeaky Fusion method (my Fusion squeaks when there's no more hair there), except once a week when I clean up my neck--the hair there is "visible" but I can't feel it very well.

Same here.  I can do it without a mirror, but it's just much easier to use one.  Interesting that this thread came up, because I would have been embarrassed to admit that.  I thought I was the only one that still relied on the mirror.   :)

I'm a sink shaver and stand in from of the mirror.  But I do the back of my head by feel and also to make sure that there are no rough spots.
