As a sink shaver I too do the two mirror bit. Though since I must have coarse hair or something I have found that I tend to shave by the sound of the blades on the hair. When there is no sound then I am smooth and slick
I also shave by mirror and sound

Fog-less mirror is an oxymoron.
I've tried 2 or 3 and they always get foggy after a few months or so after the coating wears off
My cheapy (<$10 ) one from Wal-Mart has lasted me more than 3 years. I just do the 'spit on the mirror and smear' trick, then splash/rinse and shave. I could shave without a mirror, but it just makes life easier and cuts down on time for me.

I haven't found a mirror that works in the shower either... with the HeadBlade, I really don't need a mirror anyway.

I can shave very well in the shower mirror-less, it's how I started with my HB. My new home has a bathroom with a clear shower stall, and I can see my noggin' in the mirror.
I still don't really need it, and I do the back entirely by feel.
I will finish up with any of my 3 "go to" razors that happen to be in rotation. It's usually my Atra or Sensor.
Like Paul, I also use the sound method when cleaning up, hence the "scraping" sound, lol.

The sound thing works for me too, I can always tell when I nick myself by the sounds coming from the shower... and so can everyone else in the neighborhood!

I'm a sink shaver and use a mirror, but not for the back of my head. I use the Stevie Wonder method for the back.

I've got it down to a science. It's all touch and feel for me. No mirror for me.

I shave in the shower, no mirror just feel. I shave with one hand and run the other behind the blade to make sure its smooth. After im done with the headblade and before I rinse off the shaving gel I run my hands over my head just to make sure...

I'm trying to become a 'shower shaver' but after a lifetime of shaving at the sink it's a daunting process. I'm going to get a shower (no fog) mirror and try it out. The ideal is to do it by feel, but I still have a long way to go on getting that method perfected.

Red, just take your time and go slow. You will find it eventually gets quite easier.
I started with my HB by feel, and in a short while it does feel like an extension of your hand. It works best in my opinion.

I still need a mirror...I'd end up having racing stripes on my head without one

I don't use a mirror. I listen to Yoda and use the force.

WOW, I thought I was the only one who did that.
