On a trip to the northeast this week, w/ connections both ways, I noticed something and I'm wondering if it's just me or if others have noticed it too.
We all know that the fully Sly look is getting more and more common, we see at least one or two other guys every day, but when I was on the road yesterday, every place, never out of sight there was at least one other fully sly guy, and numerous tightly buzzed ones. One flight had a sly guy in the next seat! It was really astounding how many of us there were. The airports were loaded. One TSA entrance had two or three! Every flight had at least two, I mean is the Sly life part of the road warrior creed?

I see fellow sly guys all the time.
Reminds me of Fight Club sometimes when you just give each other the nod of reassurance.

I am seeing a greater number of sly guys than ever before both in real life and on the tube and films. Last year I was the only sly guy in my neck of the woods and now there are at least five others.

What I'm not seeing much of anymore is high school and college age guys shaving their heads completely. A couple of years ago that seemed to be the really "in" thing among that age group. Maybe now that the weather is starting to get hotter, there will be more shaving for the summer. Most of the sly guys I see are the 30 & over MPB crowd.

Good point. I do think that in general high school and college girls prefer full head of hair as opposed to a shaved noggin. That might possibly why.

I think it's probably because that age group doesn't tend to stick with any one thing very long. Bald was trendy with that age group a couple of years ago, and then the pendulum swung back the other way again.
