Hey Red,
Oakley Flak Jackets (polorized) are what I wear on a daily (in my pic) though my girlfriend found me a great pair of Pradas that I might pick up next week.

I've posted a new avatar pic with my Prada shades on.  Very much like the shape of the ones in your link, but with wider temple pieces.  I'd forgotten how cool they are  8)

Prada, Oakley? Why do you need such expensive sunglasses? You can't buy coolness. Drug store store shades are just as good. Have the same UV ray protection. I rarely wear sunglasses. I'm no movie star and definitlely have nothing to hide from.

I'm cool ,shades or not Tyro just by the fact that I'm SLY!!!

Why Prada, Oakley? Because I don't want to have to replace my sunglasses 2 or 3 times a year because I bought an inferior product like the $12 shades at the local 7-11. Living in California, I have to wear my shades every single day. I want them to be comfortable, stylish and provide the UV protection I need. I also want them to last longer than a month. Oakleys and Pradas come with a guarentee that the 7-11 shades can't offer. So I'll pay a bit more for them because I know they'll last the entire year or more.

Red, great shades Bro!!! Get your Dirty Dogs yet?

Oakley, Oakley, Oakley....by far the best sunglasses ever made.  I prefer the Polarized Flak Jacket followed by the Polarized Half Jacket and they last forever.

I agree fr8.

Tyro, sunglasses don't make you cool. It comes from within, like being sly, you either have it or you don't.
If you've got to say you are, you're not.    :/O

I've never been called modest. But then again I am SLY and it is all about attitude.

BTW they fit just fine.

As far as optics are concerned...Oakley's are definitely top notch. I've also found the that their quality is far superior to what I've come across at the local grocery store or convenience store. And appearance wise, doesn't get any more bada** than Oakley's

Sunglasses and clean heads are a great combo!  Wraparounds seem to suit us best, no?  Red you are looking tough with the sunglasses & earrings.  Motorcycle jacket would be the final touch.

I've got a ginormous head and have trouble finding sunglasses that don't squeeze the living bejesus out of me! :)  So, I found a couple pairs of $12.99 sunglasses at Sunglasses Hut..they say 49 Lynx and Made in China :)  High quality right there baby! :)  Anyhow they are wraparound style so they stretch a little and don't squeeze...very comfortable and affordable..I think they look pretty cool...here is a pic...if I had more money, I'd probably check out some www.fatheadz.com sunglasses.  In fact my cheapos are very similar looking to this fatheadz style...I figure I either lose or break my sunglasses all the time, so unless I happen to have a ton of extra money and the expensive kind fit my head perfectly, then I'll stick to the cheapos... :)  Sometimes Surf Shops have good looking cheap sunglasses too.....and grocery stores..Ukrops in particularl...

These are the FATHEADZ above^^^

These are the Cheapo $12.99 pair on me above ^^^

I need some suggestions.  I wear glasses with no line bifocals and transition lenses (not too bad, but not dark enough).  I cannot wear contacts.

Are there any good prescription sunglasses that can accommodate my no line bifocals?  Do any of you have success or failures to share?

That's a very good point.  Besides the better optics and quality of  brand name glasses you're also guaranteed UV protection.

Cheapos from China may not protect from UV even if they have a little UV sticker on them.  In fact they cause your eyes to dilate and let MORE UV rays in !!   :o
