Howdy from North Idaho

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a proper Bostonian in exile in North Idaho. I first shaved my head about 12 years ago now, when I was still living in Boston. My hair was receding, and I kept having my barber cut it shorter and shorter, so that it wouldn't look stupid. I had a friend online, who shaved his head. He convinced me to shave my head, and there was no going back.
I have 2 tats. I have a 3/4 Celtic braid on my left bicep. I have a green gecko on my right bicep, in honor of our trip to Maui. There are little, beige geckos that come out at night all over the place in Maui.
I have had a pierced septum for many years now. I just don't keep it in that much these days. I've had my nips pierced previously, but haven't had those in for a number of years.
I'll try to upload a face shot in the near future.

Welcome Bubba... ...from Boston? I thought "Bubba" was a "southern" name. Maybe that is because the first person named "Bubba" that I ever knew was from Alabama.
Anyway, the "shorter and shorter" scenario is basically my story too, except that the "barber" was my DW (Darling wife).
I first met the gekkos at a Marine base camp in the Philippines. I asked the man that told us we'd be staying in the camp on Bataan for some mosquito netting, and he said we wouldn't need it because the gekkos eat them all. Sure enough, that little guy who hung from the ceiling over my head at night did the job. I didn't get a single mosquito bite the whole week I was there.
Anyway, welcome to SBG.

I was given my nickname when we moved out here to Idaho, and it's stuck ever since <G>
