Hey Guys,
I am new to the head shaving scene. I have been using clippers for a few years, and finally decide to go O-Natural! Anyway, I love the way I look, but I am so confused by which blade to buy, which shave gel....etc. I swear I will go to the shaving isle and just stand there.....I am experiencing with different items, but just wanted to gauge some opinions out there as to which is the best, and why?

Howdy. I.ve tried them all over the years and settled on the Schick Extreme disposables with the Headslick shave creme. Second best shave creme for me is also plain old hand soap and a few drops of olive oil. Im pretty much a Schick man. The disposables last a lot of shaves for me and the way the blade head bends "laterally" really makes it easy to get a good shave on my scalp

I use the Headblade sport, the fusion, and shave seceret oil with a spray of alcohol to shave with.
The best thing I could tell you is to experiment because everyone is different.

The best razors that I've have used have been the Fusion, Quattro and Mach III. I started using shave secret oil a little over a month ago. It is the best that I have found. I use it by itself. I know some others use it in combination with Headslick or another shaving gel. I find that the shaving oils really clog the Quattro and make it hard to use.

I've tried the HeadBlade off and on and, while not totally comfortable with it, will say it's a good razor. But overall I've been using the Schick Extreme. The replaceable cartridge kind. Not knocking the disposables. Used them too and they work good. I use all Bald Guyz products as far as shaving gel and etc...

Welcome Darkknight! I use the Headblade Sport with Sensor Excel blades. I use either HeadSlick, BaldGuyz, or Pacific Shaving Oil to shave with.

I have used the Bic Comfort 3 pivot (6 for $4 at Walgreens) and HeadSlick shave lotion.I also use my Remington electric shaver for touch ups and afternoon shaves when that 5 o'clock shadow (more like a 12 o'clock shadow) appears.
I would like to try the olive oil sometime as i'm a BIG fan of anything from that source.Maybe it will help my scalp.

disposables: Xtreme3
quality blades: mach III or Sensor Excel (better than Mach III but more expensive)
Shaving gel: King of Shaves proshave cooling gel - sensitive.
But when all is said and done it depends on the old dome and what suits it best. you just gotta experiment and find what's best for you.

I'm no pro yet... but
I'm using M3 Gel and a M3 razor. I've had no razor bumps or cuts, so I must have picked a decent combo.
