For all the die hard Fusion users...Check this out!!!

I haven't actually used this razor but I saw it in K-Mart today. It's K-Mart's take on the Fusion. I'm guessing that anyway. But it's called The Torque. I think it may be spelled with slang like "Torq." Something like that anyway. But it has 6 blades and the cartridge head looks similar to the Fusion one, and so does the handle. But here is the really good part. The cartridges are half the price of the Fusion ones. I did a price comparison between the both. The initial price is about the same for the actual razor itself. Somewhere around $8. But you can get 4 replacements for about $8. For 4 Fusion ones it was like $13. That's a pretty good deal to me if I was a Fusion user. Then again it would have to be tested because as we've all seen before, you usually get what you pay for. Just thought I'd put it out there in case any of you die hard Fusion users wanted to give it a try. I was thinking about it, and still am. If I do it before anyone else I'll give it a review.

Great find Lance. Now all someone needs to do is buy it and review it.
6 blades?!! Damn before you know it there will be razors with 12 or more.

I'll keep my eyes open for this one. But my experience with knock-offs hasn't been good. This could just be more money out the window.

I've decided tomorrow I'm going to give it a shot. After I get off work I'm going to swing by the old K-Mart again and pick up one of these things. It comes with 2 cartridges. I'll give the noggin a shave tomorrow night and post up a review.

hmm! Not over keen on razors with more than 3 blades. I find that the more blades the harder they are to rinse and clean. The harder they are to rinse and clean the quicker they clog up and dull and the usage isn't as great.

Sorry brothers. Been off of here for a bit. Never got around to getting one of these things. The HB is just working so good for me lately and haven't had any "accidents" with it(knock on wood) so I may not get around to getting one. Sorry for the build up with no results.

I guess the manufacturer's philosophy is "The more the merrier" when it comes to blades. I seem to get the best shave with either the Fusion or Headblade. Disposables are ok in a pinch for my face, but don't think I will trust my head to them.

We're getting damned close to the Saturday Night Live parody commercial for the "Platinum Mach 14". lol
Remember that?
