Thats exactly my point, why not be happy the way you are and NOT self conscious about MPB or body hair or whatever. IMHO why get self conscious about piddly sh*t like that? Life's too short too worry about something as minor as hair.
So why shave your head, then?

I think the difference is that body hair is easily disposed of...while MPB isn't as easy to overcome. That's why you must accept MPB and go Sly...

Hahah well true...but as opposed to hair transplants and pills...easier to shave/trim/wax body hair. It's definitely a pain in the behind, but it's easier done

I shave my head because I think it looks better all gone rather than a friars ring.
I never said I wasn't vain.

Oh no, I don't have the need to wax. I just use clippers and a razor

If I uploaded a picture of my chest and back you would swear evolution could actually be a possibility. My wife does not mind it at all but honestly I don't care for the hair on my back. Then again, for whatever reason it is part of who I am. So I keep it trimmed to a reasonable level.
As far as hair removal we tried the wax thing a couple of years ago. Let me tell you something. We don't need the military, CIA or waterboarding to extract terrorist information. Just capture one of those Al Queda guys, tie him down and put him in a room with my wife and a jar of hot wax. I promise you he will give up any info we need just to get away from her. Next to a slipped upper back disk that was by far the most painful experience of my life!

LOL Hammer LOL.....sorry bro..but most of our laughter and enjoy is usually at other peoples expense. I have two small patches on my back that my wife will NAIR every now and then for me. I hate even doing that...sh*t burns and itches....but man....

Don't enjoy the body hair, and I'll tell you why....
Ya know how--for fitness guaging--we factor body fat percentage?
Well, I have to figure in body hair percentage....I'd be about 15 lbs lighter if I shaved my body.

Its ok TimmJ....when I was younger I was a bit more self concious about it...Now I make light of it and even get a kick out of walking out in a just a pair of shorts when one of my daughters friends is over. The looks on their faces is priceless..somewhere embarassing the hell out your kids is in the fine print in the "Daddy contract"

The older I get, the hairier I get everywhere except my head! Planet of the Apes hairy. Today, I took my wife to a new nail salon and spa near our home so she could get her nails done for Mother's Day, and I noticed a sign on the wall advertising chest, abdomen and back waxing (thankfully most of my back hair is near my shoulders) for $80. Well, to make a long story short, my wife said "why don't you go for it?" So, I did. I got waxed for the first time, and to be honest, it wasn't a walk in the park, but it wasn't that bad either. I've experienced worse pain and dealt with it. The back was no problem. The rest was pretty uncomfortable. But, my wife digs it, and I have to say it does look good. I don't consider myself a metrosexual or anything less than a manly man. I get that some people think men are supposed to be hairy and they should just live with it. Seriously, though, mine was getting out of control. This is a good change of pace.

I tolerate it but I have days when I wish I could permanently get rid of the forest on my back and chest and never have to think about it again.
