Yup; I do; I have a pair of black ones; non-pointy toes (the "Ropers" that were talked about earlier in this thread) .

Thanks!I just got a pair of custom made boots, it is like nothing else.
Mike speaks true! Both the black pair in my avatar picture and the redwood pair I recently posted are custom-made. I have wide feet and super-beefy calves that make buying taller off-the-shelf boots impossible.
They're pricey, but they're worth every penny and will last a lifetime.

Was thinking about this thread tonight and today. as it was my "Pull out all the leather footwear and polish/mink oil/brush - whatever it takes to get them looking new again" day! I came to a realization - I have a LOT of leather footwear.

My partner got me a new pair for my birthday.
They're actually a bit shinier than they look in this photo, so they'll be great for dressing up.
They're just like I like them: sensible round toe and flat heel.

Nice looking boots BB....I only wish they were in style around here in the north east, I miss wearing my boots when I lived out west but you rarely see anyone wearing them here....

To be honest, you don't see a whole lot of guys wearing them around Austin either. Doesn't matter. Make your own style!
