Watching your kids grow up, albeit too fast and keeping your fingers crossed that you do it right, is priceless.

I live on a mountain and Sittin' on my back deck in the middle of summer, at night in the pitch dark, holding a cold beer, and just watching the hundreds of fireflies blinking in the blackness.

Standing on the beach surf-casting, early in the morning, with a slightly cool breeze blowing in my face, and a nice strong cup of coffee on my tackle box .... is priceless. Of course, catching a fish adds to the effect ...

Call me crazy

but I love mowing my lawn. With that said:
Sitting on my deck in the evening after mowing, trimming and edging with beer-in-hand and taking it all in. That's priceless.
God I miss summer!

Thats not crazy....I like mowing my grass too...Why, you ask? Because of the engine running drowns out all the other noise..ie, kids fighting, wife telling me I need to do this or that, and I cant hear the phone ringing.....so im in my own little world, too bad it only takes me about 20 min. to mow.....
And Tyler...since we ummmm ..no wait....SINCE you think alot like I do......does that mean I get to be an Admin? LOL
Waking up on a cruise ship at Cape Canaveral and watching the Space Shuttle launch on a bright sunny Sunday Morning...........Priceless

Man, I have a few.....
1. An even par round of golf
3. A perfectly cooked London Broil
3. Mornings at our cabin in Lake Tahoe. Back deck faces east and when the sun comes over the hill, we sit outside with a cup of coffee and take it in. The Lovely Mrs. Schro is not a morning person, but even she digs that.
4. Watching my Oakland Raiders win a game......they've sucked for a few years, so any win is priceless.
I've got more, but that's enough for now.

How could I even forget this one...
Imagine...Spring 2005, our high school hadnt won a state title in basketball since like 1946 ( doesnt say much does it) Here we are....Conseco Fieldhouse...State Final...Plymouth is the opponent.....the whole game it was neck and neck. Plymouth was leading the game by a point, but Washington had the ball with 1.8 seconds left in overtime.
In the huddle, Luke Zeller asked for the ball. Zeller promise to turn and dribble the ball before the shot. Plenty of time.
As soon as the inbound pass from the far baseline reached Zeller's hands, he turned, took a running dribble, jumped from the midcourt line and sent the high, arching shot sailing with six-tenths of a second on the clock.
Plymouth was celebrating just moments before this shout....they had won the state title...there was no possible way they could lose...we were only down by 1 point....1.8 seconds left...how could they lose? Once that shot was made....you could feel the energy shift from the left side of that stadium to the right side....if it were possible...that stadium would have flipped over on its side..it was the last shot glory heard around the world...

A "sunny" summer day at the Jersey shore with my kids in tow.
Rides, taffy, pretzels with mustard, chocolate custard, hot dogs, funnel cakes...you name it the works. And then going on some dizzying rides.
The last time we tried this it rained.
