Fence-sitter Friday

If you're still on the fence about going sly and if you're reading this, you might consider taking the plunge tomorrow (Friday) if not sooner. If you have Monday off, you'll have a good 3-4 days to get over the initial shock of being slick smooth and on Tuesday, if you don't like it, you'll be back to enough stubble that no one will notice (even though it's highly unlikely you won't dig the look and feel).
I took this advice from some very SLY bros here (thanks guys) and haven't looked back. It was just that comfort zone I needed to go the extra step. Back at work on Tuesday, no one said a thing.
If you need a boost of encouragement or nudge off the fence, post up or PM one of the SLY veterans.
So, any takers? Or anyone else enter the SLY side over a three-day weekend?

You will be able to tell which fence due to the candy cane effect of the red and white stripes!!
But Rob6 is exactly right, if your buzzing down, take the plunge after work tomorrow and if by some strange reason you do not like it, let it grow back to your current stage by tuesday. Trust us...it always grows back

So what presidents are we celebrating on Monday? I miss the good old days -- Lincoln's birthday and Washington's birthday, both as holidays. Many here are probably too young to remember life before President's Day. There are a lot of presidents who are forgettable (no need to mention any and start a fight). President's Day is too generic and waters down the importance of Lincoln and Washington.

By the way, good idea if you have the day off and are on the fence... JUST DO IT!!! You won't be happy until you give in to the dark side and fulfill your desires.

Thanks, Rick. I guess the first step for many fence-sitters or lurkers would be to sign up and register on this most helpful and informative site. Then, the SBG bros will take it from there

SO...anyone gonna do it?

Great idea, Rob. A similar idea is what finally led me to shave my head... I was on Christmas Break so I had 2 weeks off of school to decide whether I liked it or not.

I shaved last year on a Friday evening, and it does help a lot, especially for those first few days when you're getting used to it, and you feel every air movement and temperature change across your scalp, which can be distracting (but fun). What's weird was expecting huge reactions from friends and co-workers. It was actually pretty muted. Made me realize it wasn't a big deal.

When I went sly I did it in the middle of the week and the reaction was quite good. One of the most liberating days of my life!
