Frostillicus's fitness and lack there of

So it's about time I admit it to my sly brother. I'm a fat sack of crappy and have totally let myself go. I'm 5'6 and well over 250 lbs probably weighing in closer to 300.... Which is grotesquely over weight; Keep in mind my frame supports 200lbs with 14% body fat so I’ll never be 135 which is what the “pros” deem I should weigh.
So why am I telling you all this? Well basically its accountability. I now have to meet fitness goals for the boys, not just my self. So like it or not fellas you are my motivation, or at least my police. I am going to start tomorrow, and work out everyday before work for 2 hours, doing just cardio.
My fitness plan is pretty simple… Cardio until I hit 250, than after I hit 250 I’ll start back with the weights, doing a fully body workout 3 days a week, and cardio 6 or 7.
I know that if I maintain a healthy diet and stick to this plan I’ll be able to walk around at 200 come the end of 2008. So let’s see if I can reach my goal.

Frost I am in a similar boat myself. But keep at it, exercise a lot and eat healthy and the weight will fall off.
Good Luck mate.

Do it Frosty! As you get into the 30+ years it's harder to get that fat off. Plus, you have to start worrying about cholesterol, blood pressure, and crap like that.

I like your idea of cardio till 250, then turn that fat into muscle, An old Zen proverb I saw in an Arnold Schwarzenegger book: "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

well you can't really turn muscle into fat just like you can't turn lead into gold... my logic behind it is, I gain weight easy, muscle or fat, i can add weight so fast. and i do not wantto go above 300lbs... muslce gain or not.
HC running in front of me could turn me into an olympic sprinter and i'm liking that idea paulie... she's so pretty

Best of luck Frost. I'm trying to take some off myself. Myself, Timmj, and Warhawk have a challenge going to see who can take the first 10 lbs off (and keep it off). It really does help to have someone to be accountable to and to movitate us into keeping with it.

That's a great idea. We should draft teams of 4-5, appoint a captain per team and have a mini "Biggest Loser."

Don't drop the weights bro! Weight lifting spikes testosterone levels temporarily, do a little before your cardio and it should give you a little edge.
We're all in the same boat brother.

Well frost...what we are using for motivation is me running in front of Rick and Mel with my Red and Whites on......you still wanna join?? LOL
IT woudl be fun to do a biggest loser SLy edition. I am sure all of us in here could stand to loose a little around the waist and actually just about anywhere. So who all wants to join in....cause for now it seems like Me, Rick and Mel have sucked in Frost......just post up and let us know. Good luck to all of us. Like Rick said, I think we are starting next week or the week after. Just get us thru the holidays here...and then we are good to go.
