AWESOME!
Like a few others here, our first was a girl. Warning, they get you wrapped around their finger pretty quickly.

Schro is right about little girls. They will wrap you around their little finger. Congratulations to you and your significant other.

Congratulations. I've got 2 sons and was tempted to try for a 3rd, on the chance of getting a girl. But I don't think girls are in cards for me. So we decided to quit while we were ahead.

Yep, from the moment they're born. You'll soon ask yourself the question, "how does someone as big as me get wrapped around a finger that small?"

I am trying to convince my best friend and his fiancee to have a kid straight away when they get married in March. That way, My kid can either have a buddy to play in the woods with or someone to practice spin the bottle with

That's great news. Just pass along a little information I got when my first of two girls was born, "The boys will leave their father, but the girls will pamper him to the end of his days!" Now that one's 31 and getting married and the other 25 and in her last semester of law school, I've found it true, very true. They like to pamper me, and argue with their Mother! Life is good.
