Nothin' wrong with being a Bear... But I much prefere being of the Teddy Bear breed if you know what I am sayin'.
I got an agreement with my wife, she keeps everything below the neck shaved and I keep only above the neck shaved!

I too, am a bear, completely covered back, chest, etc. Every couple of months I need to trim my chest hair back when it grows too long, as well as trimming back my private area some.
Something about a sharp razor being near my cajones that just doesn't work for me.
Dude, its like shaving a balloon... One thats been out in the day for a little while, you know, after some of the helium escapes. Not that Bad, if your Carefull. I would not want to think of the Otherwise

Once every two or so weeks, your Money.
i actually made a thread about this too
I wax it all, even the kidz
and the ladies love it
Does it still itch for you when you grow it back?
Yes but Why would you grow it back?
I just use my clippers down below. No gaurd. I did cut the boys once... it was terrible. That is a part of my body I never want to see bleed again.

All it takes is one time right? Same thing happened to me once, and I am super careful now. Nothing like explaining a scab down there.

You got it. That will be the last time that happens to me!
Have noticed a trend with dudes in the highschool age/ college +....
WAXED or shaved arms...start lookin' around, you'll see.........nothin'...
i started noticing it at the gym...then later started to notice it outside the gym when waitin' in line or when you're out doing everyday errands, ect...
....most of the times no where near buff...sometimes pretty scrawny....
it's definately a trend...
I think I send too much time in the dude section at the gym....

I have noticed in general that guys seem to be less hairy, but I can't tell if that's by nature or by choice. I had my back, chest and abdomen lasered to remove the hair because I was never really comfortable about all the body hair I had. Back turned out really good; front is about 80% better but not completely gone. What's left is rather patchy, but at least now trimming or shaving it is a manageable task -- which was definitely not the case before. I'd like to get rid of the hair on my arms, but it isn't dark enough to be effectively lasered.
Nothing below the waist has ever been or ever will be shaved.
I would like to have my back, shoulders lasered. I trim my whole body, and have only completely shaved my chest/abdomen a couple of times. I am a pretty hairy guy, so the stubble was too much. Trimming seems to work for now.

I had the same problem. I have very coarse hair, so it was always very itchy and uncomfortable and there was too much of it for shaving to be a practical option. Also, since I've been working out, I'd like to be able to see the results of my labor instead of having them hidden under mounds (and I do mean mounds) of hair. I'd been thinking about it for a long time and finally did it because I started to notice a few grey chest hairs, which meant it was now or never because grey hairs aren't affected by the laser. Overall, it's been a big improvement, though I wish I'd been able to get rid of the chest and abdomen hair entirely.
