I can never get my face as smooth as I'd like, either -- especially around the jawline. Sometimes going over it with an electric razor after I've shaved with a blade seems to help. But mostly I've learned to live with it.

Yeah....I can get the noggin slick, baby...but the face = different story.
May be because the face is much softer...mushy, if you will. (Kinda like doing CPR on someone on a really cushy mattress = can't get the "support")
With the noggin, the skull is RIGHT THERE, man....plenty of support.

Yeah, I can't get my face as smooth as my dome either. I've been working on it but have yet to find a solution.

I find that I get a better face shave if I use the Mach3 instead of the Fusion. It seems having less blades gives a closer shave on the face for some reason.

Same problem here. Seems the face can take twice and long to get half as good of a shave. I'm open to any suggestions.

Maybe if you wouldn't smile like that you would get a better shave.....

I don't know if anybody else has this problem, but I have really tough whiskers and in one area they are like splinters of wood sticking out of my face. They tend to stop growing sometimes just at or just below the surface of the skin. If I can manage to grab them with a tweezers, they pull out very easily, root and all -- they are so loose. But other times they don't get close enough to the surface of the skin to pull out and they get infected, which hurts like hell. It's always the same spot -- on the left side of my face just above the jaw line near the edge of my goat.
