Well ... here are a couple you can try:
''Excuse me, but does my tongue taste funny to you?''
or maybe...
''Can you help me find my puppy? I think he went into this cheap motel room.''
I've never "personally" tried there ... but I'm sure they would work great for you

baldbynature.....when i was a single & unattached.... i just assertively approach a lay-day...by introducing myself.... "hi my name is........" man....just keep it simple.

Hey Bald by Nature, you should check out the book "The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists" by Neil Strauss (who's sly). He's got some great techniques for breaking the ice. It's also a very entertaining book.
