well, I could say..
You know who really needs to let go? Over the hill baby boomers that somewhere back when they were spin dancing naked and listening to Moby Grape decided that no matter how ridiculous and mangy it may be, hair fell into the "more is better" category.
40 years later, they are still holding on to a cape of hair on the back of their head. Is this to remind the world they are still a "hip" and "radical" individual riding the peace train to freedom.
Are your cut off Levis, strappy sandals and see through Tie-dye not enough to remind us of your bohemian glory days?
Do you really think that holding on to that overgrowth of neck hair is really making any kind of statement other than "I can hold on to my hair longer than I can hold on to my values" or are you afraid the joint wont get passed to you at the next Eagles reunion / farewell tour?
But I would never say that.....

george carlin...obviously hasn't visited this forum. and he obiviously hasn't seen the sly domes of yul brenner, patrick stewart, michael chicklis, billy zane, ami james, jim cantore ....just 2 name a few.

Actually, I have no problem with Carlin. I think he's hysterical. I'm just returning serve (to use BalDoug's tennis analogy).
Some white guys have shaven their heads for charity, some for MPB, and others (me) for health reasons. If it's a fashion statement he's disagreeing with, fine. Personally, I think 60 year old men that are balding but are still sporting a semi-mullet ought to be stripped naked, duct taped to a tree, have honey poured on their genitals, and set next to a fire ant hill.

That G.C. hasn't aged well is the understatement of the century. Even his voice sounds like he has been around the block zillions of times.
i used to think he was pretty funny. Now he just sounds like a crabby old man (albeit with a dirty mouth)

There are a few people sly won't help, GC is one, he looks like "he's been rode hard and put up wet" and nothing, shaving, toupee, hair transplants etc. is going to help. He has to make people laugh at what he says so HE won't notice them laughing at how he looks, as the above said, skullet--and it looks like mutton dressed as lamb.
