I guess time will tell or a Doctor trip.
As for genetics, like I said, most of the males (and some of the females) have high foreheads with some thin hair, but non have progressed further than that (none have a banding spot on their crown though)
- My dad became thiner and higher around 21 also, but his didn't progress much after that until around 50 (around the same time he was taking this one medication) (funny how most of us in the family sported longer hair too at 21)

If time does take my hair more than the rest of the family, I just may be back in a few years as a sly guy <_<
