We watch less and less TV as years go by. The channels we do still watch are EWTN, NSMBC, 13 [publis broadcasting], and channel 12, the local NJ station. If our diminishing attention continues, we may rip the thing out and just read a book. This would not have been even conceivable when the kids were still with us. All best, Professor Melon

The Fox News Channel and Animal Planet. I also enjoy CMT, TNT, USA, A&E, and the Discovery networks, though it might be a stretch to say I couldn't live without them.
I could pretty much live without any of them. A couple of years ago we dropped all but basic cable, just so we can continue the internet. When we had cable, I would channel surf thru all the channels then start again. I got really good a watching 3 movies at a time.
We just get the local channels now. When I get home from work I watch Leno and Letterman for a bit, and some football on the weekends. I am more productive without it. Now if I could get rid of the internet
GET RID OF THE INTERNET?

OK BUDDY, now that is a whole different topic. You cant get rid of the internet. What ever shall we do? I jsut had an awful image of my wife ripping the internet server box out of the wall and her turning around wiht this awful possessed look on her face...............ECKKKKKKKKKKKKKK halloween scares me!

JDog, deadliest catch is AWESOME!! love that programme...and My Name is Earl..(admittedly though, aint seen the latest series) although I rarely watch tv anymore. Most of the stuff on tv is a load of codswollop. Normally if I watch something, it's a documentary like Tribe on the BBC starring Bruce Parry, which was a totally amazing series that's just finished.
Other than that...
