i just put a dozen ribeyes on the pit. should be pretty good. i shall rub it in later, after i eat.

Man....a good hearty slab of beef sounds GREAT right now.

In about 2 weeks, I'll have a freezer full of hamburger and steaks straight from a corn fed cow making her way to the butcher Monday.  I'll be eating good this summer!

Interesting how the concept of barbecue changes depending on locale.  In the south, barbecue is a noun - a type of food made from chopped pork or beef and slathered with a spicy tomato (or in NC and the low country, mustard) based sauce.  Artery clogging potential determines just how good it is!  See that for a lot of you the concept of barbecue is what we call "grilling". 

actually mr. pruitt we probably have the same concept of bbq/grilling. i just did not feel like starting a new topic about "grilling".  besides, if it is cooked on a pit it is better anyway. no matter what you call it.
