Well, it's a moot issue for me. There is no cable where I live. It's dish, antenna or nothing. Only ISP's are dial-up.

We recently switched to Time Warner Cable after having Dish Network for about three years...overall, we liked Dish Network better. The DVR was a bit easier to use (and not as buggy), and I liked the channel lineup a little better (although about 90% of them are the same). The one upside to cable is that it never cuts out. Here in Wisconsin, it wasn't unusual to lose the satellite signal for a while during heavy rain or snow. It wouldn't stay out that long (maybe an hour at a time), but it was still pretty inconvenient. Even so, we're thinking about switching back.

direct tv and have not had a problem. got it so i could watch deadliest catch and have not regretted it since. the reality shows are of great interest or should i call it entertainment. it come down to entertainment and then i find i just get bored of them and then another show will catch my interest. but of all the reality shows i have seen deadliest catch is still entertaining. for our area direct tv was the best deal and i happen to get it because they offered it where i bought my tv.
