Day 3 of my 30 Day Rule by dshupe on 12 Oct, 2016 12:39

Today marks my 3rd day on the 30 Day Rule. I have been getting thinner on top since I was 25. I kept getting closer and closer with a clipper cut for a few year and then in 2011 I decided to clipper cut it myself without any guard. Everyone seemed to be OK with it but a few made remarks. I really wanted to shave my head smooth years ago but didn't have enough nerve to do so. Sunday night I decided that I would go totally smooth. So far no one as made any comments to me but everyone does look like they are trying to figure out what's different. I love reading the posts on this site and look forward to being a long time Sly Bald Guy!!

Today is my 1 week of being totally sly. I love it and have no plans of ever letting it grow back out. I am now thinking about my goatee. I have had one since I was like 20 but have never let it get very long. Have kept it trimmed fairly close. I really like the way you guys look with fuller beards and goatees. I think I will try letting mine get fuller. I have to say I feel much more confident in my appearance since last Monday morning.

Great news, sir. I am glad this is working out well for you.
I wore a closely cropped beard for over thirty years, then cut it down to just a goat for another five or so. I decided to let it all grow out just over a year ago. I don't intend to go back. -

I haven't trimmed my goatee since last Monday which I would normally do at least 2 or 3 times a week. I think your beard looks great on you. I haven't ever tried growing a full beard.

Looking good and your smile shows you are pleased and comfortable with the shaved head. Agree growing outthe goatee/beard would add another dimension.
