• Greetings my fellow bald headed warriors (by choice or by Mother Nature.) Name's Matt (or Liquid) 27 years old!
  
  New to the board but certainly not new to the world of shaving my head. I've been keeping my head shaved for the past 5 years. Alternating between being completely bald and going back and forth to the mohawk or some form of hair. I have plenty of hair on my head but I have a strong widow's peak and it is receding back slowly. I also have skin issues so I tend to keep my hair short to maintain it. I recently decided to grow my hair out about 5 months ago. I was almost in the clear for a 6 month of no shave, no haircut but grew tired of the big bushy look and opted for a mohawk look (undercut.) (MOST RECENT IMAGE.) However, now that I have shaved down the sides I am itching to get rid of it all and go back to the bald look. I have been told I fit both looks well. My wife really likes the hair as she met me when I was shaving my head but I grew out my beard and goatee for her. What would you guys say? They always chant "once you go bald" and I must say shaving my head does feel good and there's nothing like a clean noggin after a nice shower.
  
  NOTE: I do have a scar on the back of my skull from a drunk injury that occurred but I have been shaving my head for so long that I wear it as a battle scar and a reminder of my blessings.

  I know it sounds redundant,  but you carry both looks well. However, you seem happier in the bald pictures, which is telling me you want to do it, but you don't want to disappoint the Mrs. Am I right?

• Yes, both looks are great, but I think the bald and beard suits you the best, but it really depends on which you prefer.

• Welcome aboard.  From your photos you wear the sly well and with summer coming it is a great time to go back to it.  If you got the itch, scratch it.

• You look good either way, so either choice is perfectly fine.  Maybe a few months bald, a few months not bald is just how you should roll.

• Totally bald is better in my opinion.
  But you could try a mohawk with thinner stripe of hair

  UPDATE: So I went with my mohawk. Trimmed it up and went 0 on the sides and back. Needless to say it won't be long before I pretty much go back to my bald dome!! SLY FOREVER!!!
