Kissing

Working at the bar I get to see a lot of people (I live in a small town and know a lot of the regulars) hooking up randomly with different people.
And something that always disgusts me and always has is, some dude picks up some chick on the dance floor and they start making out. I think it is so disgusting to kiss someone you barely know..... Mind you i do not see an issue taking her home and having a night of fun as long as there is no kissing.
in 2005 my birthday fell in a Sunday, and I was working that Saturday night and a kid came in witha november 13 birthday.... so I wished the kid a Happy Birthday, and told him it was mine too. Any way the girl behind him wished me a happy birthday and gave me a hug, which is cool she's hot, than she kissed me on the cheek and that's cool i can live with that, than she re adusted and tried to kiss my mouth and i gave her my cheek again.... than she did something so i could not pull away and she got me on the mouth, i damn near vomitted on the spot.
However had she told me she had a birthday surpire for me at her house i would have been there.....
Basically I think kissing is personal and don't want to do it with just anyone, where as having sex is just getting my rocks off and i'm done.
Anyone else feel this way?

I don't know man, I think sex is just about, if not more personal, than kissing. Unless you don't go down on them, or put your mouth anywhere on them, and just get off real quick and thats it...but thats not too easy to get to without even a kiss.
I kinda know what you mean tho, I guess its just the exchange of saliva that disgusts you, I could kinda understand that. But making out with a CLEAN, hot chick is a great feeling to me, even if I did just meet her that night

Any woman that I don't want to kiss is a woman I don't want to touch in any other intimate way.

Frost I cant see where you are coming from.
So you are not willing to share saliva and kiss a stranger and risk a possible airborne mouth infection yet you are comfortable taking that same stranger home and having sex with her which poses a myriad of more risks than the simple act of kissing.
Kind of an odd way of thinking but okay, its your life.
I've heard stranger ideas.
Like the time a 23 year old cop with no children trying to tell me about how newborn babies are "Narcissitic"

Married here as well. Even when I was single though, I always took these matters fairly seriously. Agree with Fatal Attraction. Also try Takashi Miike's Audition ... that one's even worse!

Frosty, I think you might find yourself in the minority on this one, but hey, who knows? If you use the middle school language, kissing is getting to first base, and having sex is hitting a home run. It's really hard to cross home plate without touching first on the way.

Reminds me of the story "The Man With The Iron Mask."

Yes, I'd like to know how one would go about implementing a "no kissing" rule during sex without highly offending the other party.
