I'm 18 and still in high school and i love to shave my head.
The summer is near and I'm thinking about it but for the moment i got a buzzcut with no guard and I'm tired of people's comments on my new look (I'm the only one in my high school with this haircut) and i posted my pic on facebook and everybody started asking me "why did i do that ?" and i got a lot of bad comments even from my friends.
I like how i look but Do i keep it or wait until school is over ?
and if i do keep it What should i tell them to make them stop questioning my choice ?
Does a buzzcut look good on me ? or do i look better with hair or totally shaved ?
As noted in other post you look great with short buzz. After high school shave it if you desire - it will look good, Common but maybe not for a person your age but i have seen guys your age with shaved heads.
As long as it doesn't cause a strained relationship at home and/or school, I'd keep it! What country are you from, BTW?
It is up to you if you want to keep it. The inital change sparked all the comments, they will adjust to your new look in time and the comments will stop. I just ignored most of the comments or just said that is what I wanted to do.
I think the buzz cut looks good on you. If you decide to razor shave, it really does not look much different from a 0 buzz cut. If you razor shave and don't like it, in 3 to 5 days it will be back to a buzz cut.
If your photo is your current style, you have a nice dark shadow. Looks good. very trim. I'm sure it's easy to shampoo. Easy to dry off. Never blows out of place in the wind. Does not show a hat ring. Does not need hair gel or spray, etc.
Lots of good reasons for a low maintenance buzz zero haircut.
Has it been 30 days yet? If no, people are still getting used to it.
When I look at pictures of people from other parts of Africa, seems there are a lot of guys with buzzed or shaved heads. Don't know about Tunisia, but would think it would be common there, too.
If you like it, I'd stick with it ... unless your parents are giving you major grief over it. Hair is not worth that battle. You can always come back to a shaved head later.
