Of course the answer here i s it looks better shaved. But like others have said, you still have enough hair for options. Parents and friends take time to adjust to a change and do not give objective comments, so don't let that be the basis of your decision. If you like it shaved, just do it.

I can tell you that, I'm in the same situation. When I first shaved my head my parent tell me that I should grow back and some of my friends tell me : "D*ck head!". Actually I don't care what they say.
I grow back my hair just because I think I need to done my study first (I'm last year student of a college and unluckily my teachers don't like my head too).
You live in US that many people shaving their head, I'm live in ASEAN country that every bald guys defined to be gangster or bad guys. So I think you should shave you head if you want. I will shave mine once I've done my study despite the social here. -

I think that you look good either way. However, you seem to want to shave your head, so you should try that again. If you don't like that way (operative word is "you"), you can always grow back your hair. If #2 is you (looks like an astronaut), you can look really great with a totally clean scalp. So try it again (for 30 days) and then make a decision.

Not gonna lie. Your parents are right you do look much more intimidating without the hair but also far more masculine.
You look just fine with hair though, although I think better without or with the barely down in stubble.

Bro, definitely shave the head...suits you. If you don't want to go completely bald, shave it to a stubble, looks like you have a good widow's peak in the front that will look good with a stubble shave.
