Having a better than new vintage razor appeals to me so next month I plan to send my Fatboy into the shave emporium for a revamp. I settled on Rhodium because it should last a good long while.

What does that mean in English?

Glad I am not the only one. Whenever any guy I knew referred to his "fat boy" he was speaking about something that had nothing to do with shaving.
The thread's title made me think it belonged in the piercing category.
No I was in a hurry and didn't take the time to type Gillette.
Hi Nate: Let me give you some other options on re-plating your vintage razor. I would go with Chris from Razorplate.com or Nick from Sport Shaving. These two gentlemen are highly respected on the famous wet shaving forum: Badger and Blade. They are based in the good ole USA and they give great customer service. I look forward to seeing your future Rhodium Fatboy.

Sport shaving has a more favorable price range. Have you used their services before?

No but I have several friends who have sent their vintage razors to them and they were very satisfied with their work.

Pulled the trigger on this, here are the first 2 pics.

Hi Nate: Congrats on your newly replated Fatboy. Wow... that is a thing of beauty. I know that pictures don't give it justice. Enjoy it in good health my friend.
