I snagged a Gillette Fatboy 1960s era for under $60, I paid $57 something total. It's in good condition too, it just needs some cleaning to get rid of soap scum; no rust or scratches. I'm giving it a Barbicide soak as we speak.
Can't wait to test this badboy out!
This rounds out my collection nicely. I think Parker is one of the DE manufacturers that I don't have a razor from.
Correction, there's some tarnishing in the corners and on the handle. I'm convinced that with the right supplies and tools I can clean that up. Other than that, it's in pretty good condition.
I sort of feel like I struck gold, since I'm seeing Fatboys go for anywhere from $100 to $300 or more.
Upon further research it would appear that this is a slim and not a fatboy. Still a pretty sweet find IMO.
Well it appears that I over payed for a slim. Ah well, lesson learned.
