Have you ever been on a business trip or away from home and seen someone while you were there and thought they looked like someone on this Board? I was recently in Dallas for business/pleasure and was in a nice restaurant. A sly guy walked by my table and he looked so familar. I kept racking my brain and finally decided I did not know him but that it must be someone from SBG. I did not have stones enough to walk up to him and introduce myself. Kind of wish now that I would have. If he was a member, it would have been nice to meet them in person. If it wasn't, I guess I could have invited them to be a member.
Has anyone ever experienced this? -

Sort of -- I'll occasionally see someone bald staring at me, and I think, 'Does he recognize me because maybe he has seen me on this board.' Then, I'll start wondering whether I should know him because maybe he is a member, and I'm too clueless to figure out who he is. But I've never had the guts to say anything.

Oh I can relate to that very much. I just got back from Florida and I see TONS of bald guys and my wife looked at me and she said Why are you looking at all these guys so seriously? Its because I think i recognize them. Yeah I had a few that struck up a convo but they were not members and one i will not talk about because he I think was thinking different thougths than I was. But Yeah I know where you are coming from on that one. I find myself wanting to walk up to bald guys now and strike up a convo but I dotn want to see ....ummm weird ya know.

Timm. I had some of the same feelings. I wanted to introduce myself but was afraid they were not members and would think I was weird. Glad to know it's not just me.

Yea, I pretty much always picture Tyler roaming around town in his "boss" white suit too
On the topic though, i've always thought the opposite...I wonder if anyone recognizes me from the sites and all my ramblings!

Not too long ago I saw a dude on a motorcycle that REALLY looked like Paul (from Chicago).
Oh, yeah....in March I was in Downtown Denver and came across this dude at the HYATT that looked EXACTLY like Tyler....so much so that we went out and had drinks and caught a Railbenders concert....it was REALLY erie.
Check it out, man.

happened to me today going thru new orleans. happens often actually. i usually just give a nod and smile. but i also wear my shirt often too.
