The positivity of this site

I'm sorry guys but I've recently come across this site as a balding male and frankly, the complete lack of negativity appalls me. This site is like a fat person site with everyone telling each other how great they look fat when truth of the matter is...they don't. Don't get me wrong; some people like myself can look great bald and I along with those people are lucky, however most guys look much worse bald and lose many attractive points. My point is...this site is nothing but an attractive nest for people in denial, and the people encouraging this denial (older forum members) are sick.
If you have a booger sticking out of your nose would you appreciate others telling you? If your answer is no this is the site for you!

If negativity is what you want, Gozman, please post a picture of yourself so the other members can tell you whether they agree with your self-assessment of your appearance.

Seriously !?!?!? Take the negative energy and the pile of misery elsewhere! There's enough misery in the world.

Because a half bald man in denial looks better than someone that accepts it and gets on with life. .. right?

Bro, I hope that was all just some sarcastic joking around and we all just missed the punchline. If not, then you are the one with the issues and obviously don't know how to lend support.
Yes, not everyone can pull off the bald look, I've seen many who don't, but there are ways to lend an honest opinion without stirring up negativity, especially when someone is already dealing with thinning hair, hair loss, etc. That's already enough to deal with without some schmo making them feel worst!

Well Happy New Year to you too!!!!
I'm ugly and I know it. I was ugly with hair and I'm still ugly without hair...... that doesn't mean that I can't encourage others to get rid of that ridiculous horseshoe or comb over.

Gozman,
This post is very much against the normal tone of civility I maintain on SBG. But, you're clearly a troll or a jerk that needs to go crawl back under the rock from which you came. People in denial? I doubt that. I don't think anyone on SBG is preaching everyone looks better bald than not bald. This site is about giving options to balding men (and women) that don't include rugs, plugs, or drugs.
If you want that negativity you crave, go read the local newspaper (which likely includes several ads for expensive & scarring hair transplants).

Gozman,
You haven't read this site very closely if those are the conclusions you've drawn. The most common advice is "buzz it down to get a sense of what you'd look like. If you don't like it, your hair will grow back in a few weeks." There's no hard sell, no forcing anyone to do anything.
As to negativity, when did it become necessary to be rude and negative? Sounds like you are one of those people who think it's his right to "tell it like it is" even if what you say is offensive.

Dear who-I-suspect-to-be-a-disgruntled-banned-former-member, please seek professional help for whatever problem compels you to troll Internet sites in order to spread the negativity that has invaded your own life.
It may chap your ass that a site such as this exists where the membership tries to help people rather than tearing then down, but I'm sure that it is a condition that can be treated if you make the decision to lift your own life out of the sewer into which it has descended.

You all have expressed my thoughts very well; I'll just add a couple more. Yeh, there's not enough negativity in the world, THAT'S what our problem is. Someone who would go onto a website and start ragging people about being too positive has too many "issues" for us to solve. So, gozman, I hope that you work out your own problems and find the peace that you seeking. If you hate us that much ... good-bye!

Guys, we're better than this....don't let the troll win by feeding him.....If this guy is serious, he'll post back....if not, leave him alone and he will go back under his bridge....we need to devote our time to serious members who aren't looking to stir the pot.

goz"man",
You must have missed how we seem to be the ones telling guys they have a booger hanging from their noses... (well, on this site it is more like we are pointing out their funny looking comb-over or "horseshoe" hair style)... and we often seem to be telling the whole world to shave their heads. But we do try to be positive in how we communicate with each other (knowing from personal experience how demeaning the whole balding experience can be).
Your comparison of balding to being overweight was not thought through very well either. Try again.
Also, ball-less wonder that you are, you didn't post a pic... so propagate some more negativity and hide!
