Here I go - Hello to all

Hello to all.

I am a new member of this forum right now and I'd like to get some advice and some emotional support from other bald guys.

Just some short infos 'bout me :

I am 20 years old, come from Germany and yeah.
My hairline started receding with the age of 16, unfortunately I started taking Finasteride with 17.5 ( still suffer from sides), which could not stop my loss.
First cut down my hair half a year ago to 9mm, currently I buzz it every week to 2mm's.

Personally I think I don't look that bad with a shaved head, but I don't look as good as I did before. In addition to that I am pretty small, though my dad is above average ( he's about 4 inches taller than me.) But that's life, f**k or get fucked.

Hello Krx,

The fact that you think you look good buzzed is a good thing. As far as not looking as good as before, that's probably not the case. It will just take you some time to adjust to the new look.

If you read around, you'll find that a lot of the guys here started losing their hair around the same time as you - in their teens. I think you'll find their stories encouraging and a good source of support. And sly guys come in all sizes. Shorter guys look good sly ,too - I oughta know ;)

While loosing your hair might be a good reason for giving SLY a try, you don't need to loose you hair to enjoy a bald head!

I think they are just plain cool.  I buzzed my head as short as you are doing for about six months prior to breaking out the razor.  I guess it was part of getting used to super short hair.  Since my first head shave, the only time I've left my hair grow was about a year ago when I was so sick with a winter something or other, that I could not get out of bed for a week.  First thing to do when I got out of bed was to shave the head!  Ahhhh!

Sorry you are having side effects from that Finasteride. How long have you been at 2mm?
